Returning to camp

Aaron was away from camp, but he was finally returning. But then things went wrong. Medusa appeared, tackling the car he was in, sending him flying out. He drew his sword, but fighting her would be a challenge.

Medusa lunged a spear at him.

Unable to look, he heard the whistle of the spear and attempted to dodge, but was semi-unsuccesful and was grazed along the chest. He followed the direction of the spear, and without looking, tried to stab Medusa.

One of the snakes bit his face. She whipped the back of her spear on him.

He dropped in pain. The hurt was bad, including the jab with the spear. Silver leaped out of the car behind him however, silently sneaking up on Medusa, and bit her neck.

Medusa screeched. One of the snakes whipped Silver in the face.

Silver growled and bit the snakes head off.

Aaron used the distraction to stab Medusa in the back.

Chiron trotted up to him. "Great job, my boy."

He nodded and shook Chiron's hand. "It's been too long. How's everything? " He asked with a smile, overjoyed to see his director again.

Stole walked up. "You did an awesome job with her." he stated. He and his sister had arrived just moments ago.

He nodded.

Silver ran up behind him, and he sat down and began rubbing her head.

Amy came out behind Chiron. "Hello? Who is it? "

"It's Aaron," Chiron said. Another girl walked up behind Amy, though not near her.

Amy looked confused for a moment. "Aaron?... " He wondered aloud.

"Oh, he was here last year.. You wouldn't know him. He's a son of Poseidon." Chiron explained.

Stole shook his head and looked over at Chiron. "How do you know if he is?" He asked curiously.

Aaron shrugged. "The gods DID swear by the River Styx to claim all of their children. " He said.

"Many gods didn't respect Percy Jackson. Now that he's dead, some feel that they don't need to abide by the rules." Chiron said. He then added, sounding more like a history teacher, "It's like when the new colonists of early America heard of the war at France.. They thought that since the king who signed the Old Treaty was dead, they didn't need to help."
