Aaron unsteadily, got to his feet, groaning and clutching his shoulder, which was bleeding rather badly.

Artemis features were cold. "No males are allowed to view this forest." She then smiled. "Welcome home, my daughter."

(They arrow doesn't hurt you, it was supposed to put you to sleep XD)

"Home?" Marie murmured, glancing around. She had never truly been able to call any place 'home' before.. "But I haven't even spent a night at Camp whatever it was."

Aaron was on the ground, oddly in a deep slumber.

"You'll still be in camp," Artemis assured her. "I just wanted to meet you.."

Marie nodded, her expression bemused.
"So, you're my mother?" she asked, awkwardly shuffling her feet.

"Artemis is my name," She said.

Marie played with her hands nervously.
"Yeah, but if you're my mom, wouldn't that be kinda weird to call you Artemis..?"

Artemis chuckled, "I was just telling you who I am, dear. You know, the ex virgin goddess."

Marie twitched.
"Umm, yeah, about thaaat," she started. "How am I supposed to deal with people looking at me when they realize I'm the first child of a goddess who swore she'd never have kids?"

"They won't question it," SHe said sternly.

Furrowing her brow, Marie stared at her new-found mom.
"I think I know if somebody will tease me or look at me funny," she snapped.

"They will not." Artemis said calmly.

Looking Artemis right in the eyes, Marie asked, "And how do you know?"

"Because, dear, I'm a goddess."

Marie chewed on her bottom lip.
"You're not going to use any magic?" she asked.

Artemis said, "If only. I think you have the wrong goddess, you might want to talk to Hecate about magic. No, they won't insult me or you," She said simply.

Marie glanced around at the other girls.
"Who are these people?" she inquired.

"My Huntresses. They're my spiritual daughters." Artemis explained.

Marie's mouth formed an O.
"Umm, can I talk with you?" she asked. "Just..mother to daughter?"

She nodded. The Huntresses' walked away, a little irritated.
